Borneo Coffee Co.
Borneo Medium Roast

THE ORIGIN
Sabah, Malaysian Borneo. The same latitude as Ethiopia and Panama. A highland rainforest that has been quietly growing exceptional coffee without an American brand to tell the story. Until now.

THE FOREST
Five layers of living forest do the farming. Emergent trees pull minerals from 20 meters underground. The canopy shades the cherries until they turn dark purple. Honey bees from the top of the forest pollinate the crop below. Resident birds handle the pests. No synthetic pesticides, because the forest already runs the system.

THE COFFEE
Single-origin Arabica. Medium roast. SCA 85. Dark chocolate, tropical fruit, caramel. Grown by the farmers Jackz Lee trains and roasted by Sabarica Coffee in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
Our first customers called us from other states asking for more. We hadn't launched yet.

BUILT BY SOMEONE WHO LIVES WHERE THE COFFEE GROWS
I live in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, the same city where this coffee is roasted. I know the growers. I've stood in the nursery where these trees started.
When I brought the first bags to the US in 2024, customers called from other states asking for more before we had a website. Borneo Coffee Co. exists because this coffee deserves an American audience, and because every bag sold creates direct demand for smallholder growers in Sabah.
This is not coffee sourced from a catalog. It is coffee from a place, grown by people, brought here by someone who lives among them.
